ABOUT US:

THE SANKALP URBAN CO-OPERATIVE CREDIT SOCIETY LIMITED NASHIK registered under Maharashtra Co-Operative Societies Act 1960 (Maharashtra Act XXIV of 1961 Section 9(1)), popularly known at an ancient holy city Nasik as The Sankalp Urban Co-Operative Credit Society Ltd. Nasik Road (SUCOPS) has commenced its Banking/Financial operations with a capital base of Rs.50,000/- . The Sub-Registrar of Co-Operative Societies, Nasik Taluka has issued Registration Certificate No.NSK/NSK/RSR/CR/1538/2004 dated 30.06.2004 vide Maharashtra Co-Operative Societies Act 1960 (Maharashtra Act XXIV of 1961 Section 12(1)) and Maharashtra Co-Operative Societies rule1961 Section10(1).

HISTORY:

At the beginning of the financial year 2004-05, some of the retired banking & financial employees came together and they formed this ‘The Sankalp Urban Co-Operative Credit Society Ltd. Nasik Road” (SUCOPS). But due to their some problems they cannot start the business of this SUCOPS. Then from 01.04.2010, some young enthusiastic and like-minded Social Workers associated with Mr. Shashikant Patil of Nasik came together. They started this SUCOPS with an intention to promote Social Justice and welfare and to take banking to the masses, especially middle class and low-income group of people to support their standard of living. It was initially difficult to collect share amount of Rs.100/- for one share. Now the SUCOPS is enjoying enormous confidence and loyalty from the members, depositors, well wishers and public in general. SUCOPS has made enormous progress during the period of 5 years of its banking business due to confidence bestowed by the people at large. A common man has no hesitation to invest his hard earned money in SUCOPS for safety and better returns.

SUCOPS now known for its service, clean image and young team of personnel, has carved its own niche as one of the Best Credit Co-Op Society in the Nasik, having a customer base more than 500. SUCOPS made appreciable progress in the last decade of its banking operations.

MEMBERSHIP:

You are welcome for the membership of SUCOPS family. When you become a SUCOPS member, you are allotted 10 shares of Rs. 100/- each. But this gives you a right to participate in the management process of the organization through the A G M. You can otherwise also post your suggestion for improving the functioning of the SUCOPS. Our SUCOPS functions like a well oiled machine and we understand each other, so well that we have spontaneously started treating our members as part of SUCOPS Family. Because of the avowed objectives of this initiative, when we committed ourselves to ensure welfare of our membership through financial support, we are improving the standards of life and rendering all possible financial services under one roof.

WHO CAN BE A MEMBER OF THE SUCOPS:

Any person, who has attained the age of 18 years, is capable of entering a valid contract, member of Hindu Undivided Family, a Company registered under Companies Act, a Partnership firm, a Limited Liability Partnership firm, any trust, institutions, residents of Nasik Taluka or persons employed in Nasik Taluka or professionals with their business establishment in these state, can become a member of the SUCOPS.

HOW CAN ONE JOIN THE SUCOPS ?

It is very easy, you have to just open an account and fill up a membership form, which is available at SUCOPS Office. No doubt, you can apply for more than 10 shares or multiple in 10 shares, which will be allotted to you as per the discretion of the SUCOPS. For more details, contact SUCOPS Office.

SERVICE:

SUCOPS has various Deposit and loan Schemes, which are extended to its members. Any general citizen can open the account, you can provide your details by filling up the application form with maximum details documents in order to serve you better. SUCOPS serves to its member for Personal Loans, Loan against Gold, Business Loans, Home Loans, Mortgage Loans, Vehicle Loans etc.
