About Us

Mrs. Shailaja and Mr. Shashikant Patil (Bachhav) have established this school. Keeping in view holistic development of the young students of the village after primary schooling. Much inconvenience was faced by their students in availing secondary education as they had go to their relatives staying at different places. On the request from the villagers, Mr. and Mrs. Patil ‘Founder, Sarwajanik Seva Mandal, Nashik’ started this school. This school offers Secondary and Higher Secondary education from 5th to 12th std..

History

Hon. Mr. Shashikant Patil (Bachhav), was staying at Ranala & taking school education. From their schooling, they were in touch with local senior politicians. In few days, they devoted themselves in social work. When they visited nearby villages with their friends, they found the illiteracy in the children & elders. So they collected likeminded friends and started the social work with the deep and long vision to literate villagers from childhood to elders. For this purpose, they used many more tools. Initially, they started Adult Education Class with the government scheme for elders. With the likeminded friends and in their leadership, they formed Pujya Sane Guruji Sarwajanik Wachanalya, Jai Bajarang Vyayamshala, Shri Chhatrapati Ganesh Mandal, Yuvak Aaghaadi etc. After few days, they also shared with political parties. With forming the SARWAJANIK SEVA MANDAL, they shaped the constitutional institution for concrete foundation & registered the same with Assistant Charity Commissioner, Dhule in November 1989. Under the Umbrella of SARWAJANIK SEVA MANDAL, they worked in Ranala up to 1993.

In 1994, When they visited their motherland JAKHANE, they found the major illiteracy in elders and youth also. Then they paid attention towards our motherland. In 1994, Jakhane was having Z.P. Primary School up to 4^th class. After passing 4^th class, boys students were sent up to Amarale & Shewade for Secondary school education. Some boys students were sent up to their near relatives. Some of them were admitted to Aashram school hostel. But girl students were stopping their education due to illiteracy in their parents as well as for the social safety. In those days, there was huge dropouts of the students in Jakhane & Behed. And all these things were very embarrassing to Mr. Shashikant Patil. So they thought to form the Secondary School in Jakhane, our motherland. In 1999, they took initiative and they formed Secondary School named ‘MADHYAMIK VIDYALAYA’ in 2000 at Jakhane. In 2005, this school was having classes from 5^th to 10^th standard.
